What Are The Requirements For The Selection Of Glass For Curtain Wall?

The glass used for the glass curtain wall should be safety glass, mainly including Building Tempered Glass, laminated (glued) glass, insulating glass, fireproof glass, solar control coated glass and low-emission coated glass (High Transmission Low-E Glass). The specific selection requirements are as follows:

1. Safety glass should be used for the curtain wall. The thickness of the glass should not be less than 6mm. The thickness of the full glass curtain wall rib glass should not be less than 12mm.

2. The appearance quality and technical index of float glass used for heat-reflecting coated glass shall comply with the requirements of superior products or first-class products in the current national standard "Float Glass" (GB11614).

3. The insulating glass of the curtain wall should be sealed with two channels.

The insulating glass of the exposed frame curtain wall shall be made of polysulfide sealant and butyl sealant. The insulating glass of the semi-hidden frame curtain wall shall be made of silicone structural sealant and butyl sealant; the coated surface shall be the second of the insulating glass. 4, the laminated glass of the curtain wall should be processed by polyvinyl butyral (PVB) film dry processing of laminated glass. The thickness of the interlayer film (PVB) of the point-supported glass curtain wall laminated glass shall not be less than 0.76 mm.

5, tempered glass should comply with the provisions of GB9963 "tempered glass".

6. All curtain wall glass should be edge treated.
